Aging in Place Transformation Whole Home Remodel
Newly retired Homeowner wished to make her home more habitable now and in all the years to come. She wanted a Master Suite added on along with storage areas and new more spacious laundry room. Homeowner wanted an updated kitchen with space to both bake and entertain while cooking. Carpeted areas need to be replaced with hardwood flooring and the new areas needed to transition to the older areas seamlessly. In addition a 1250 square foot shop was to be built on the property and a single car garage was to be removed.
ReNew Creations worked with homeowner to design and create this beautiful Life Long home to meet her needs. This transformation took place in multiple phases. The first phase included: an 800 square food addition to house her new Master Suite, Butler Pantry, new Laundry Room and Storage area; and the creation of a premiere Workshop with space for fine wood working, pottery and in the future glass blowing. The second phase included: full kitchen remodel, replacing carpeting with hardwood floors, and Outdoor Living Pavilion, decks, pavered patios and walkways. A final phase included a bathroom and den update in the before untouched areas of the home. Some might call this an “Aging in Place” full home remodel, but this homeowner considers it to be her Forever Home!
