As with so many kitchens designed in the early 2000s, this home had an angled work island with a bar on a half wall. Pairing that up with an aging clear finish on the wall cabinetry, laminate countertops and a deep red on the wall… you get the picture, it was dated, dark, and not at all what these California transplant clients were used or looking for in their new home.
ReNew Creations worked with the owners to select a light color palette and lighting to brighten up the entire workspace. ReNew also designed a large working island for food prep and seating to make the kitchen more open to the rest of the great room. New, low maintenance quartz countertops and full tile backsplashes finish off the blend of new and existing cabinets, and tie it all together seamlessly.
